The natural world will bring you back to who you are

Sep 08, 2026

The natural world is the greatest nervous system regulator we have.

The more time you spend in the natural world, the more gratitude your nervous system has for being alive.

You build this relationship with the natural world incrementally little by little and you begin to realize wow this is very rejuvenating and restorative.

There’s an innocence and curiosity in the natural world that will reflect your innocence and curiosity.

There’s a growth and a transformation that is slow, steady and incremental that will mirror back to you. The easiest way to grow is little by little, because it does it nonverbally and it does it gently.

You don’t go out into the natural world and the trees don’t tip their branches on your shoulder and go let’s talk about that thing that’s moving through your head, you know that dialogue you’re having right now, where you’re telling yourself you’re a really bad person and you’re life’s a mess!

Nature whispers just take a look at the bark of my tree, place your hand on my leaves, place your fingers in the soil, and just get a sense of the texture, and it’ll bring you to who you are.

Just use your eyes, use your touch, use the sound, listen to the bird song and we will bring you back to something very still, very alive, very alert and very ancient that is part of you.
